The Quality Awareness Programme for Childminders

The Quality Awareness Programme for Childminders & Potential Childminders, is delivered on an on-going basis by Limerick Childcare Committee.

It is a 10 hour introductory programme, on what is involved in Childminding. It aims to offer support to all Childminders and is delivered over 1 Saturday and 1 evening mid-week. The Programme is made up of 5 modules which explore the following aspects of Childminding:

Why Choose Childminding?
Child Development – An Overview
Hygiene, Health and Safety
Well-being of Children
Play

The Programme is advertised in the Limerick Childcare Committee Training Calendar, which is produced twice per year, on our website and Facebook pages and in the local newspapers.
