We held our second site visit on the 17th July, this time it was Teddy’s Community Play School in Dromcollogher. Anne gave us a tour of the Old Court House and the challenges of adapting a protected structure before crossing the road to tour the green area. Over the past 8 years the service has worked with parents, children, and staff to develop a field into an engaging outdoor space where the children spend 90% of their time at Teddy’s. There were lots of opportunities for sharing practice and ideas, followed by networking over tea and home baking, with the team and members of the Board on site to answer questions.
